In my raw marinated crab era and their soy marinated crab did not disappoint! They start with a complimentary fried flounder which was sooo good and a bunch of sides. I had some bulgogi which was nicely cooked. They have a lunch special too which is perfect if you want smaller portions during the day.

Update on 8/3: After I posted this review, the restaurant reached out to me promptly, sincerely acknowledged the issues we experienced, and refunded the mandatory 20% gratuity. I genuinely appreciate that they took the feedback seriously instead of dismissing it, and that they committed to reviewing these issues internally. While this doesn't change what happened during our visit, I believe it's fair to recognize their professional and responsive follow-up. Our group of six had one of the worst dining experiences we've had in NYC. The restaurant automatically charges a 20% mandatory gratuity for parties of six or more, but unfortunately the service was nowhere near the level that would justify it. Here are just some of the issues we experienced: - A fly landed on the lettuce in one of the complimentary side dishes. We asked our server to replace it. They took the plate away and never brought a new one. - We asked if they could help portion the samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) for our group. The server refused and simply handed us empty bowls so we could do it ourselves. - Their signature bulgogi hot pot was brought to the table with virtually no explanation. No one told us whe

Absolutely love it! Food is amazing! Even the chicken that looks so normal tasted so special and tender. The octopus and tripe soup were very good too. They even include a small fish for free. This has become my fav Korean restaurant in the city!

Food 4/5 Service 3.5/5 Ambiance 4/5 This spot is known for its Bulgogi (4.25/5), and it absolutely lived up to the hype. It's one of my favorites in the city because it's not overly sweet like most places, making it much more enjoyable. Squid Kimchi Pancake (4.5/5): This was my personal favorite. The kimchi was incredibly flavorful and the pancake was perfectly thin. The con was that it was a bit small and there could have more of a "crisp" Limited time Spicy Pork Rib (4/5): Very meaty. Most pieces were tender, though a few were on the drier side. Tripe Soup (4/5): A bit bland for the broth but very hearty and comforting. Abalone over Rice (2/5): This was the only major miss. While the abalone itself was good, the rice had a very "fishy" taste that was overwhelming. Icy Persimmon (4/5): A refreshing treat! I really enjoyed the frozen texture of the persimmon. Glad to have stumble upon this place before leaving NYC as for my last dinner with friends. We basically locked into our order knowing to get their well known bulgogi for the medium size portion and shared it among the 4 of us. There was still quite a lot left but this is a must when you are here since they will give you plenty of protein, eggs and veggies plus noodles. We also got the kimchi cold noodles and the octopus kimchi pancake to pair it with. And something soupy was the tripe soup to wash it all down. We realize that everyone that sat down at 7 has been with us till like 8:30 or so. So it’s such a great place to sit and catchup. Attentive servers too and will be coming back here for sure!
